Google Translate Presents Two Translate Models Supported By Gemini

JAKARTA Google added two selected models to its translation application, namely Google Translate. Two new options seen in the application are Fast and Advanced.

These two options are here to improve translation functionality for users. This feature appears at the top of the app so that users have greater control over the accuracy and speed of translation.

These two options offer different functions. Advanced Options are set as defaults. If the app is running this option, the user will get a complex text translation with higher accuracy.

Meanwhile, the Fast option is here to answer the need for translation that requires high speed. Users can access these two options through model voters located at the bottom of the Google Translate logo.

Users will see the specific functions of each model when tapping the menu. For now, the Advanced Model only supports text translation in certain languages.

This new feature is based on Gemini, Google's Artificial Intelligence (AI) model. That way, users can get a more quality translation, including multimodal translation, and text-to-speech (TTS) capabilities.

The launch of this feature is already visible on several iOS devices even though it is not yet available on Android devices. In addition, Google Translation for iOS has just received a Control Center widget for quick access to the Camera, Text Translation, Dkte, and Conversation features.
