Thousands Of Residents Crowded CFD Tegar Faith, Bogor Regency Government Prepares Routine Concepts Every Week

JAKARTA - Thousands of residents of Bogor Regency, West Java, spilled over along Jalan Tegar Beliman, Cibinong, to participate in the Car Free Day (CFD) of Tegar Beliman which was held on Sunday morning.

Since 06.00 WIB, the area has been crowded with people who exercise, gather with the community, to enjoy local music and culinary entertainment. The Bogor Regency Government has also taken advantage of this momentum to open public services and introduce the Culinary Zone as a trial of structuring public spaces in the Tegar Beliman area.

Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto who was present at the location said the high enthusiasm of the community was a positive signal that CFD Tegar Beriman could be a routine activity that is beneficial for residents.

"We see the extraordinary enthusiasm of the community. Therefore, we will discuss the possibility of making CFD Tegar Faith a routine activity every week, of course by taking into account the readiness of facilities and infrastructure," said Rudy.

According to Rudy, this vehicle-free activity does not only function as a means of sports and entertainment, but is also part of efforts to maintain air quality and environmental awareness.

"It's not just people who need exercise, nature also needs to rest. By blocking the road temporarily, trees can produce more oxygen without being disturbed by vehicle pollution," he said.

In addition to being a healthy recreation event, the Tegar Beriman CFD is also used as a forum for friendship between regional heads and the community. In this activity, Rudy appears to be interacting with residents and community leaders, including the former Bogor Regent.

"This activity is a common gathering forum. I hope that in the future the leaders and predecessors of Bogor Regency can also continue to contribute to the progress of this area," he added.

The Bogor Regency Government plans to conduct a thorough evaluation of the implementation of the Tegar Beliman CFD, starting from the arrangement of traders, the emergency evacuation route, to traffic regulation. This step is taken so that this activity is more secure, orderly, and provides broad benefits for the community.
