Aldila/Jamice Qualify For 120 Open 2025 Final

JAKARTA - Indonesian women's doubles tennis player, Aldila Sutjiadi/Janice Tjen managed to advance to the 120 Open 2025 final round. A dramatic victory was won by the host representative Riya Bhatia/Rutuja Bhosale.

In the semifinals which were held at SDAT Tennis Stadium, Nungambakkam, Sunday, November 2 in the morning WIB. Aldila/Janice had to fight hard from the start of the match.

They were left behind in the first game with a score of 0-1, 1-3, up to 2-5. However. Aldila/Janice were able to equalize to 5-5, but the Indonesian pair had to admit the opponent's advantage and lost 5-7 in the opening set.

Entering the second set, Aldila/Janice appeared more aggressive and dominated the full course of the match. They managed to wipe out six games without reply, won 6-0 and forced the match to go to tie-breaking.

Entering the decisive match, Aldila/Janice appeared confident because they managed to win 6-3 and 7-3 and continued the victory with a score of 10-5.

With this result, Aldila Sutjiadi/Janice Tjen ensured that they qualified for the women's doubles final of Chennai Open 2025. In the final round, they will face the Australian-Rumania pair, Storm Hunter/Monica Niculescu, who first advanced to the final.

Interestingly, Janice Tjen had previously confirmed that she would qualify for the women's singles final for the Chennai Open 2025. This result opens up great opportunities for Indonesia to win two titles in the tournament.
