Ministry Of Culture Achieves Award For MTN Cultural Art Program

The Ministry of Culture won the Collaboration & Partnership Championship Award thanks to its success in strengthening cross-sectoral collaboration through the MTN of Cultural Arts in preparing a superior generation of cultural arts in the country.

The Director General of Development, Utilization, and Development of Culture, Ahmad Mahendra, received the award representing the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia.

"This award is a motivation for us to continue to accelerate the promotion of culture," Mahendra said when receiving the award in Jakarta, Friday (31/10).

He emphasized that MTN Cultural Arts is a tangible manifestation of Asta Cita Presiden Prabowo Subianto, with platforms and targets that are now more measurable. The goal is one, making our local human resources superior, competitive, and ready to compete at the national and international levels," he said.

MTN Cultural Arts is within the framework of Presidential Decree 108/2024 concerning the Great Design of National Talent Management. This program targets five main fields: literature, film, fine arts, performance arts, and music.

Since the strengthening of the scheme in July 2025, the program has involved more than 30,000 participants in 22 cities and 7 countries, in collaboration with 200 festivals, communities, and art institutions. Currently, 3,024 talents have entered the MTN national database as a reference for advanced coaching.

Mahendra added, the entire process is run based on data and networks that connect young artists with the creation space to the industrial market. "Our hope is that this program can continue to run continuously by collaborating and partnerships with various parties," he said.

According to him, this success marks the strengthening of an inclusive and participatory cultural ecosystem. "We are committed to continuing to encourage every human resource person born from this program to be able to highlight their respective potential and characteristics," concluded Mahendra.

This award is also a reminder of the importance of the sustainability of the MTN of Cultural Arts as a strategic instrument to produce superior creative talents towards Indonesia Gold 2045.
