Democrats Are Not Yet Lirik Purbaya Despite Skyrocketing Electability: We Are Focusing Internally

Secretary General of the Democratic Party Herman Khaeron responded to the results of a survey by the Minister of Room, Purbaya Yudhi Sadive, which was skyrocketing and received attention from the National Mandate Party (PAN). Herman said his party was focusing on internal parties.

"Democrats are focusing on internal consolidation. Similar to the General Chair, we are also focused, Mr. AHY completes state tasks. So that it can really work well, we in the party are also consolidating," said Herman Khaeron at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday, October 31.

"So we don't get into a situation like that first, and please it's the right of parties," he continued.

Herman emphasized that currently the Democrats are consolidating internally so they have not looked at figures outside the party. According to him, the most important thing for the Democrats is to support and succeed President Prabowo Subianto's government.

"We are just focusing, we are focusing on internal consolidation. And on the other hand of course those in government, cadres in government are focused on completing government tasks," he stressed.

Previously, Deputy Chairperson of the National Mandate Party (PAN) DPP Eddy Soeparno admitted that the electability of the Minister of Finance, Purbaya Yudhi Sadive, is currently quite high based on a number of national survey results.

However, according to him, this did not immediately make Purbaya interested in entering politics.

Eddy assessed that Purbaya is a professional in the financial sector who is currently focusing on bureaucratic tasks, especially in managing state finances and treasury.

"Then Mr. Purbaya became one of the candidates made by PAN for us to withdraw it to PAN? Yes, it's not certain that Mr. Purbaya will also want it," said Eddy on Wednesday, October 30.
