Israel Returns 30 Bodies Of Palestinians, Majority Shows Signs Of Torture
JAKARTA - A medical source at the Gaza hospital reported on Friday that the bodies and remains of Palestinians had been handed over by Israeli occupation authorities through the International Red Cross Committee.
The bodies arrived at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis and are the fifth wave of Palestinian bodies that have been handed over since the ceasefire in Gaza took effect on October 11, 2025, according to WAFA Oct. 31.
This return is part of an ongoing exchange deal under a ceasefire plan in the United States-brokered Gaza Strip with Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, citing AFP's The Times of Israel.
According to medical staff, most of the bodies showed signs of torture, arson, and execution. Many hands and eyes were tied, and in some cases, their facial expressions were so damaged that the family could not identify them.
Based on the agreed ceasefire, Israel will return the bodies of 15 Palestinians to every hostage who dies returned by Hamas.
