Failed To Overtake A Truck, Motorcyclist Killed By A Wheel In Cengkareng

JAKARTA - A motorcycle rider named Tarsisua (61) died in an accident on Jalan Livestock Raya, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, Thursday.

"The victim suffered injuries to the head and right waist, until he died at the TKP (the scene of the incident)," said Head of Law Enforcement (Gakkum) of the West Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit AKP Joko Siswanto, ANTARA.

The accident began when the victim was traveling from east to west on the Grand Farm and when he arrived near PT. KIG Group, the victim overtook a Fuso Mitsubishi truck with police number B-9807-FXS driven by a man named Sahrudin.

"While overtaking, the victim fell and was run over by the left rear wheel of the truck that was driving in the same direction as his right side. Lindasan left the victim seriously injured in the head and right waist, bruised to death at the scene," said Joko.

Joko said the victim's body had been evacuated to the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) of Tengerang Regency.

"Visum et repertum or official forensic report has been requested," said Joko.
