Perempuan Terpidana Zina Pingsan Usai Dihukum Cambuk 100 Kali Di Aceh Barat

JAKARTA - NS (34), a housewife from Aceh Jaya Regency, fainted after undergoing 100 lashes, at Teuku Umar Meulaboh Square, West Aceh Regency.

"Currently, the convict is in medical treatment," said Head of the General Crime Section of the West Aceh District Attorney's Office, Darma Mustika, to reporters in Meulaboh, Thursday, October 30, as reported by ANTARA.

Initially, the execution of the criminal caning against NS was stopped several times by the executing prosecutor of the West Aceh Kejari because the perpetrators netted pain.

The team of doctors also checked the health condition of the convict, and after the convict stated that he was able to serve a caning sentence, he returned to the execution stage.

Despite being stopped several times with tears in his eyes and enduring pain, NS was finally able to undergo 100 lashes, until he finally fainted on stage.

The medical officer and the prosecutor then took the convict NS to the ambulance, to get further medical treatment.

Previously, he was sentenced to 100 lashes by the Syar'iyah Meulaboh Court for being legally and convincingly proven to have committed adultery, along with his partner ZK, from Teunom Aceh Jaya District.

Likewise, ZK was also sentenced to 100 lashes because it was legally and convincingly proven to have violated Islamic law.

Both were previously caught by officers on Saturday, November 16, 2024 when both were found in an inn on Jalan Sultan Iskandar Muda, Kuta Padang Village, Meulaboh, West Aceh Regency.

Both of them cannot show a letter or marriage book, so they then undergo a legal process in accordance with the application of Islamic law in force in Aceh.

Both of them violated were proven to have committed a criminal act/jinayat Zina, Ikhtilath and khalwat violated Article 33 paragraph (1) in conjunction with 25 paragraph (1) jo. Article 1 Number 26 jo. Article 23 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 1 number 24 jo. Article 37 paragraph (1) Aceh Qanun Number 6 of 2014 concerning Jinayat Law.

Meanwhile, the convict ZK also netted pain while undergoing the execution of the caning, and his sentence was stopped several times because he was convicted of illness and had to be examined for his health condition.

In the execution of the caning which was also witnessed by regional officials and the community, the West Aceh District Attorney also executed two other convicts in the case of ikhtilat.

Efforts are a mixture or mix between men and women who are not in one place or activity, both in groups and individuals.

Darma said the two convicts were DL (44) from Serdang Bedagai, North Sumatra and their partner MA (24) from Krueng Seumayam, Darul Makmur District, Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh Province.

Both of them served 21 lashes each, after deducting their detention period after both of them underwent body confinement at Meulaboh Prison, West Aceh, from the total caning sentence handed down by the judge 100 lashes each.

Both were proven to have violated Article 25 Paragraph (1) of Aceh Qanun Number 6 of 2014 concerning Jinayat Law, and the execution was carried out in accordance with the decision of the Aceh Syar'iah Court Number: 28/JN/2025/MS. Aceh September 15, 2025," said Darma Mustika.
