Motorola Edge 70: Super Thin Smartphone Secretly Released In Europe

JAKARTA Without much fanfare, Motorola quietly released its newest super thin phone, Moto Edge 70, in the European market. Although the official launch is scheduled for November 5, the official Motorola website already displays all the specifications and displays of this device.

Moto Edge 70 looks elegant with a POLED screen measuring 6.67 inches, 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protective layer. Behind its sleek design, Motorola submerged the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, combined with LPDDR5X RAM to 12GB, as well as the Android 16 operating system directly from the sales box.

Interestingly, Edge 70 is the global version of Moto X70 Air which will be launched in China on October 31. This phone is in the spotlight because its thickness is below 6 mm and weighs only 159 grams, making it one of the thinst smartphones in the world today.

Despite its ultra-slim design, the battery remains with a large capacity, 4,800 mAh, with support for 68W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. For photographic purposes, Motorola embeds a 50MP resolution double rear camera, while the front camera is also 50MP for sharp and detailed selfie results.

In terms of storage, Edge 70 is only available in one variant, namely 12GB RAM + 512GB storage, with a tag of 800 Euros or around Rp. 13.7 million. As a bonus, Motorola also provides free prizes in the form of one of the three options: Moto Tag smart tracker, Moto Buds Loop, or Moto Watch Fit.

This device comes in three Pantone-style color choices, namely Gadget Gray, TIGH Pad, and Bronze Green. With a thin design and premium specifications, Moto Edge 70 looks set to be a strong competitor in the upper-middle class smartphone segment of the coupling between minimalist forces and maximum performance.
