Huawei Mate X7 Ready To Launch November: Thiner Design, 7.95 Inci Screen, And Charming Cosmic Color

JAKARTA Ahead of the launch of the Huawei Mate 80 series in November in China, the latest leak reveals interesting details about Huawei's latest foldable phone, Mate X7. This information comes from a trusted leaker of the Digital Chat Station (DCS), which claims that the device with the code name badminton will debut alongside the Mate 80 series.

Based on a DCS report, the Huawei Mate X7 will carry a 7.95-inch folding screen with a resolution approaching 2K, using Colour-on-Encapsulation (COE) technology for a more live color display, as well as an LTPO panel that allows adaptive refresh rate for better power efficiency. For durability, Huawei uses Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) to keep the screen strong but bending when folded.

In the engine section, the Mate X7 is rumored to be carrying the Kirin 9030 chipset, the same processor as the one used in the Mate 80 Pro series. This chip is Huawei's mainstay to deliver high performance without relying on imported components.

From the battery side, this foldable phone is said to carry a capacity of about 5,500 mAh, slightly larger than its predecessor Mate X6. Huawei is also rumored to have made a significant increase in its camera system and body design was thin, lighter, but still sturdy.

Another leak reveals that Huawei is testing two major camera sensor variants: one 50MP resolution with a 1/1.56-inch sensor, and another slightly larger 1/1.3-inch, both supporting variable physical aperturation. 50MP periscope telephoto cameras with macro capabilities will also be present, plus multispectral sensors to improve color accuracy and photo details.

For color choice, Huawei seems to want to appear more expressive. Mate X7 is said to be present in five color variants: Obsidian Black, Phantom Purple, Cosmic Red, Cloud Blue, and Cloud White combinations that give both futuristic and elegant impressions.

With a slimmer design, advanced screen, and high-end camera system, the Huawei Mate X7 has the potential to become one of the most attractive foldable phones by the end of 2025 proof that Huawei continues to challenge technology boundaries, even in the midst of increasingly tight competitions
