The Semarang Tawang-Alastua Line Can Be Crossed By A Train With A Speed Of 20 KM Per Hour
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI said that the trend of puddles on the route between Alastua-Semarang Tawang Station continues to decline.
The upstream route at kilometer 2 + 3 to 3 + 0 can now be passed by trains (KA) at speeds of 20 kilometers (KM) per hour.
KAI Vice President Public Relations Anne Purba said that along with the improving traffic conditions, KAI also stopped the implementation of a rotating operation pattern.
Furthermore, Anne explained that KAI ensures that all handling steps are carried out while still prioritizing travel safety.
"KAI continues to carry out field monitoring and infrastructure improvements in stages so that the trip returns to normal soon. We are also committed to maintaining customer comfort, including through a 100 percent refund policy," Anne said in an official statement, Thursday, October 30.
Furthermore, Anne explained that previously KAI had raised the upstream line construction on Wednesday, October 29, which can now be passed with ordinary locomotives with a limited speed of 20 km per hour.
"Today, Thursday, October 30, KAI continues efforts to raise construction on the downstream route by opening and closing lanes to ensure travel safety," he said.
Anne said that the inundation on the downstream route continued to decline and was recorded at only 7.5 cm at 08.00 WIB.
"We apologize for the inconvenience experienced by customers. KAI will continue to strive to normalize the railway line while prioritizing customer comfort and safety," said Anne.
