Ask Transjakarta To Fix Tap Machine Entering Bus Stop, Pramono: I Hope I Can Eat While Running
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung asked the management of PT Transjakarta to immediately repair the tap-in machine at the bus stop which is often complained about not functioning properly by passengers.
Pramono admitted that he had experienced the same obstacles when using the Jakarta Provincial Government's rapid transit bus (BRT) service.
"For Transjakarta, I myself also complain about the same thing. The tapping often doesn't go well," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Thursday, October 30.
According to Pramono, the non-cash payment system in public transportation should facilitate the mobility of citizens, not hinder it.
The former Cabinet Secretary assessed that speed and reliability of tapping systems are important to create an efficient travel experience like in big cities in the world.
"For that I have asked Transjakarta ranks to improve so that it doesn't happen again. So I think, I hope like in big cities the world while running like this can be done, table. That's the first time," he said.

Pramono also emphasized that a similar evaluation would be carried out on other integrated transportation payment systems in Jakarta, including the Jakarta MRT. He wants all modes of transportation in the capital to be connected to an efficient payment system.
"Including MRT, it is not only Transjakarta so that then all those connected for the payment system in Jakarta, so that now improvements are made," he added.
