KPK Examines NasDem Rajiv Legislator At Cirebon Police Regarding CSR BI-OJK Corruption

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has finished examining Rajiv, a NasDem Party legislator today, October 30. He was questioned at the Cirebon City Resort Police office as a witness to the alleged corruption of BI Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds and the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

"The examination is a reschedule of the previous summons," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, October 30.

Rajiv was supposed to be questioned at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta on Monday, October 27. However, he was not present so investigators rescheduled.

Returning to Budi, he explained, Rajiv was investigated about his relationship with the legislators of the DPR from the NasDem Party faction in Satori and Heri Gunawan, a member of the DPR from the Gerindra Party faction. In this case, both of them became suspects.

Diketahui, Rajiv belum menjadi legislator saat CSR BI-OJK itu jadi bancakan. Dia saat itu merupakan staf ahli Komisi XI DPR dan menjadi pihak yang ikut menyedistribusikan uang dari program itu.

"In this request for information, investigators are investigating the introduction of RAJ to the suspects and his knowledge of social programs at Bank Indonesia," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK officially announced the legislators of the DPR from the NasDem Satori Party faction and Heri Gunawan as legislators of the DPR from the Gerindra Party faction as suspects in the alleged corruption of BI-OJK CSR funds. Both are suspected of receiving gratuities and committing money laundering (TPPU).

Satori is suspected of receiving a total of IDR 12.52 billion in this case. The details are IDR 6.30 billion from BI; IDR 5.14 billion from OJK through Financial Counseling activities; and IDR 1.04 billion from other working partners of Commission XI of the DPR.

The money is allegedly used for personal needs, such as deposits, land purchases, showroom construction, purchases of two-wheeled vehicles, and purchases of other assets.

Meanwhile, Heri Gunawan received a total of Rp15.86 billion and used it also for personal gain. The details are Rp6.26 billion from BI; Rp7.64 billion from OJK through Financial Counseling activities; and Rp1.94 billion from other working partners of Commission XI DPR.

The money is then accommodated in an account. Heri Gunawan then used it to build restaurants, manage drink outlets, purchase land and buildings to purchase four-wheeled vehicles.
