Pidie Prosecutor's Office Executes 3 Corruption Convicts In Chemicals And 2 Road Rehabilitation Convicts

JAKARTA - A total of five convicts of two separate corruption cases whose legal status has been inkrah were executed to prison by the Pidie District Attorney (Kejari), Aceh Province.

The five convicts were related to the corruption case in the procurement of chemicals at Perumda Tirta Mon Krueng Baro, Pidie Regency, from 2020 to 2023.

Followed by two convicts of corruption, periodic maintenance work or rehabilitation of Jalan Leuen Tanjong-Seukeumbrok, Padang Tiji District, Pidie Regency, 2022 fiscal year.

"There were five convicts executed in prisons and detention centers after their cases had permanent legal force or inkrah. This execution was to carry out an order for the court's decision," said Head of the Intelligence Section of the Pidie Kejari, Muliana in Banda Aceh, confiscated by Antara.

Muliana explained that three convicts of corruption in the procurement of chemicals, Ridwan, were executed at the Class IIB Banda Aceh Detention Center. Ridwan was found guilty with a sentence of one year in prison and a fine of Rp. 100 million, subsidiary to three months in prison.

The following, the convict Abdullah Gade was executed at the Class IIB Prison in Bakti City, Pidie Regency. Abdullah Gade was found guilty with a sentence of one year and six months in prison, a fine of Rp. 100 million, subsidiary to two months in prison.

Then, he was sentenced to pay compensation for state losses of Rp. 213.87 million. If the convict does not pay, then the property can be confiscated and auctioned off to pay state losses. If you do not have the property to pay, it will be replaced with imprisonment for six months.

"As well as the convict Faisal Rahman was executed at Langsa Class IIB Prison. Faisal was sentenced to one year in prison and a fine of Rp. 100 million, subsidiary to three months in prison," said Muliana.

Meanwhile, two convicts of corruption in development, namely Faisal, were executed at the Class IIA Banda Aceh Prison. Faisal was sentenced to one year in prison and a fine of Rp. 50 million, subsidiary to three months in prison.

"And the convict Muhammad Fadhil was executed by the Class IIB Sigli Detention Center, Pidie Regency. Muhammad Fadhil was sentenced to one year in prison and a fine of Rp. 50 million, subsidiary or compensation if he did not pay three months in prison," said Muliana.
