After Reported By His Wife, The Police Arrested The Alleged Perpetrator Of Domestic Violence In Kelapa Gading

The Kelapa Gading Police have arrested a perpetrator of domestic violence (KDRT) with the initials RSP at an office located on Jalan Boulevard Gading, BGR Warehouse Complex, Kelapa Gading District, North Jakarta.

The arrest of the alleged perpetrator of domestic violence was carried out after VM (35), namely the victim, made a domestic violence report.

"The RSP was taken to the Kelapa Gading Police to follow up on the incident," said Kelapa Gading Police Chief, Kompol Seto Handoko Putra when confirmed, Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

A joint team from the Kelapa Gading Police and the North Jakarta Metro Police checked the location and met the reporter (VM victim).

Based on the information of the victim VM, she was afraid of someone who was her husband with the initials RSP at the office.

"According to the victim's statement, he felt afraid of violence against him because the victim and her husband were having an argument," he said.

In addition, the victim also admitted that he had experienced violence in April 2025 at his home in Pamulang, South Tangerang.

Based on this, the victim was traumatized when her husband returned to visit her at an office in the Kelapa Gading area, North Jakarta.

Even according to the victim's statement to the police, the victim was shown a firearm before her by her husband

"To anticipate reports that RSP is holding suspected firearms, we conducted a search of the RSP. As a result, no firearms were found in the body or in the RSP vehicle," he said.

Until this news was broadcast, the alleged perpetrator was still being investigated at the Kelapa Gading Police, North Jakarta.
