Thought Of Being A Doll, Cleaning Officers Surprised To Find A Man's Body Wearing A Pampers In Cilincing River

JAKARTA - Unidentified man was found dead floating in the Rorotan East Flood Canal River (BKT), Jalan Inspeksi Kali BKT, RW 09, Rorotan Village, Cilincing District, North Jakarta, Wednesday 29 October.

The discovery of the body was first discovered by two UPS officers from the Cilincing District Water Agency with the initials R and S.

Both of them found out while carrying out garbage cleaning activities in the hold of the HDPE Kali BKT Rorotan hold. The two officers initially thought they were dolls, but after being noticed it turned out to be a man's body.

The witness finally reported to the UPS supervisor, Andri Pujianto, and then forwarded it to the Cilincing Police.

Following up on the report, the Head of Sub-Sector Police of KBN Marunda Iptu Iswandi as a supervisory officer along with joint personnel from the Cilincing Police and the North Jakarta Metro Police Sat Reskrim Inafis Team visited the location to check and process the crime scene.

The evacuation process was carried out by six firefighters assisted by members of the Cilincing Police. From the results of the initial examination of the Inafis Team, there were no signs of violence or abuse on the victim's body.

The victim's body was in a decomposed state and is thought to have died about three days earlier. The victim wore a short-sleeved shirt, tactical trousers, and wore pampers.

The body was taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital for an external and internal post-mortem examination, for the sake of identification and further investigation.

Cilincing Police Chief AKP Bobi Subasri confirmed the incident.

"We have processed the crime scene, asked for statements from witnesses, and coordinated with the North Jakarta Metro Police Identification Team. For the time being, the victim is still Mr. X and we are still making identification efforts," said AKP Bobi.

Bobi appealed to people who feel they have lost a male family member with the characteristics as referred to to to immediately report to the Cilincing Police or North Jakarta Metro Police.
