JAKARTA - A well-known child psychologist, Seto Mulyadi or who is usually called Kak Seto recently shared the news that he had a minor stroke. He shared the chronology of himself experiencing these health problems.
In his Instagram upload, Kak Seto said that he initially experienced dizziness on October 20, 2025 and did not improve even though he had rested. He then checked his condition thoroughly on October 24, 2025, and as a result, he had a minor stroke that attacked his cognitive function.
"It turned out that I was diagnosed with a mild stroke (light stroke) which attacked cognitive functions, not motor skills," said Kak Seto, quoted on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
Kak Seto said that he was experiencing this condition not because of the influence of his lifestyle, but blood viscosity. He also said that his heart is in good health and is currently undergoing treatment for stroke recovery.
"Thankfully, because of living a healthy lifestyle, this stroke is caused by a mere blood viscosity factor, where the heart condition is in good health," he explained.
Regarding minor stroke, it is a temporary stroke that occurs due to obstructed blood flow to the brain in a short time. This condition usually occurs in a few minutes to 24 hours, and does not cause permanent damage.
Quoted from Healthline, people who experience mild stroke are generally hospitalized in a short time, with stroke symptoms lasting more than a day. In many cases, the symptoms will subside after some time.
Symptoms of mild stroke are the same as a common stroke, but they will usually tend to disappear. Here are some of the symptoms you should know.
- Suddenly numb or weakness on one side of the body
- Difficulty speaking
- Visibility disorders in one or both eyes
- Loss of balance suddenly
- Great headache that suddenly appears
Light stroke sufferers are generally still able to carry out basic activities such as going to the bathroom and others, but may find it difficult to carry out complex activities.
