Foxconn Will Use Humanoid Robot At Houston Factory
JAKARTA Foxconn, a Taiwan-centric manufacturing company, announced a grand plan for Tuesday, October 28, 2025. The company will use a humanoid robot at one of its factories.
The selected facility is a factory located in Houston, a plant focused on producing Artificial Intelligence (AI) servers for NVIDIA. According to Reuters, the humanoid robot will be adopted starting next year's first quarter.
This is progress from Foxconn's partnership with NVIDIA. The reason is, this robot is powered by NVIDIA's advanced AI model Isaac GR00T N in its production line. The hope is that this collaboration will create a 'leading AI smart factory in the world'.
Foxconn stated that it will continue to increase the production of AI servers in the US. This means that Foxconn is not only focused on improving its plant in Houston, but also factories located in Texas, Wisconsin, and California to meet soaring demand.

"Our team presents the most advanced AI data center solution to the United States," said Foxconn Chairman, Young Liu. The Foxconn leader added that this upgrade would help customers stay ahead in AI competition.
Although the use of humanoid robots is something new, Foxconn is not the first. There are already several companies that use robots in their factories, such as BMW and Geely.
The two automotive companies use robots to assemble a number of components. For the use of humanoid robots in Foxconn, it is not explained which parts of this technology will be placed.
