TikTok Introduces Three New Tools For Creators At US Creator Summit

JAKARTA TikTok announced a number of new tools to help creators increase their creativity. These various tools were introduced through TikTok US Creator Summit.

There are three tools that TikTok introduces, from tools supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to the latest profit-sharing system on its platform. The following is a series of the latest innovations that TikTok has announced.

AI-Based Editoring Tool

The first innovation TikTok announced was Smart Split, which is an AI-backed editing tool. This feature, which will be available globally via TikTok Studio Web, is designed to simplify the content creation process.

Smart Split can crop, frame, give longer text, and transcribed content into multiple short videos automatically. This will help creators in cutting their content into vlogs or podcast episodes into clips.

Creators simply upload content longer than a minute and select parts that want to be converted into shorter clips. Once the clip is created, the creator can select any video to upload directly to their TikTok account.

Creative Guides With AI

The following innovations introduced by TikTok are OUTline AI. These AI-powered tools are designed to assist creators in compiling their content by producing video titles, hashtags, hooks, and content frameworks.

To use this feature, users only need to enter a prompt or select a topic that is currently popular in Creator Search Insights. Later, the resulting framework will divide the video into six parts that can be adjusted by the creator.

Creators can extend or shorten the title, perfect hooks and script ideas according to their style. Outline AI is currently being expanded and will be available to creators aged 18 years and over in the US, Canada, and several countries.

In the coming weeks, the feature will be expanded to more countries. TikTok emphasized that all AI recommendations resulting from this feature have gone through an inspection to suit TikTok Community Guidelines.

Improved Subscription Profits

Finally, TikTok announced an update on the profit-sharing system of their Langganan products. Creators now have the opportunity to receive up to 90 percent of the revenue earned.

Creators who meet certain requirements, such as 10,000 followers and have consistent special content activities, can open an additional 20 percent monthly prize. This update is believed to be able to empower creators.
