Floods In Pemukiman Residents Of The Ciliwung River Have Receded
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) has confirmed that the overflow of the Ciliwung River, which had submerged 20 neighborhood units (RT) in South and East Jakarta, has receded.
"At 13:45 WIB, all floods in the DKI Jakarta area had receded," said Head of the DKI Jakarta BPBD Data and Information Center (Kapusdatin) Mohamad Yohan, ANTARA, Tuesday, October 28.
Yohan said that the rain that hit Jakarta and its surroundings had caused 20 RTs along the Ciliwung River to be flooded on Tuesday morning.
However, he said, thanks to the collaborative efforts carried out by related officers by deploying personnel along with supporting equipment such as portable pumps, flood management is accelerating.
"Collaboration between agencies and the community makes flood management faster," he said.
