Kia Showcases EV4 GT, High Performance Electric Car With Aggressive Design
JAKARTA Kia again shows its seriousness in the high-performance electric car segment through the official leak of the latest variant of Kia EV4 GT. This car is scheduled to launch globally in early 2026.
In the latest teaser, Kia shows EV4 GT with a special camouflage design called GT Wrap with a green neon accent combined. This combination symbolizes the effect of motion blur or the speed sensation that becomes the identity of the high-performance car.
Although there are no official technical details yet, Kia EV4 GT is expected to be equipped with an all-wheel drive system with a configuration of two electric motors. The resulting power is said to be in the range of 300 to 400 stances, making it one of the most powerful variants in the Kia electric vehicle line.
In terms of appearance, EV4 GT displays design details that are more aggressive than the standard model. The Kaliper brakes are green-neon, large rims, and more aerodynamic body emphasizes the sporty character typical of the GT model.

Interestingly, although Kia shows the manifestation of a hatchback in a teaser video, reports say that the sedan version will also be available for certain markets. This signifies the flexibility of the platform and the global strategy being implemented by Kia.
For the price, there has been no official announcement. However, it is estimated that EV4 GT will be sold higher than the standard version of EV4 which is priced at around Rp600 million for the basic variant. With improved performance and features in the GT version, the selling price is likely to be above that range.
Kia emphasized that the GT model does not only focus on speed, but also prioritizes a balance between performance and comfort. We want to create cars that can be used every day, but still bring Kia GT's typical driving pleasure," said the company's representative in a statement, reported by Caranddriver, Tuesday, October 28.
Until now, complete details such as battery capacity, acceleration time, and fast charging systems are still kept secret. However, with the launch getting closer, Kia is believed to be announcing the official EV4 GT specifications in the coming months.
