Infocus Thief At SDN Tugu Utara 09 Pagi Capital Obeng To Break The Window

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Koja Police, AKP Fernando explained the mode of theft carried out by SEA (23) during the theft in the Classroom of the North Tugu District Elementary School (SDN) 09 Pagi, Koja, North Jakarta.

"The perpetrator entered by climbing the school wall, then there was one class at the school whose window was unlocked so he entered through the window into the classroom," said AKP Fernando to reporters, Monday, October 27, 2025.

The perpetrator then took the school inventory items in the form of an infocus (projector) and a computer cooler from the school.

"Then the tool used by the perpetrator, he brought a screwdriver to pry the window," he said.

Meanwhile, according to the perpetrator's confession, he was looking for a random (random) classroom target. The classroom that the perpetrator broke into was on the 1st floor of the school.

"So according to the perpetrator, he spontaneously, so he did not describe (the location of the theft) before. But because he saw the situation was quiet, he entered and then when he came out he was caught by the guard (school)," he said.

School guard at SDN Tugu Utara 09 Koja accidentally saw the perpetrator jumping over the school wall fence. The guards immediately secured it.

When searched, it was found that there were items in the form of information from the theft that were taken by the perpetrators from inside the school.

"For the perpetrators, we suspect he is a single player, because there is no information that mentions any friends or syndicates," he said.

The perpetrator admitted that the stolen goods would later be sold online using the COD system. However, the hope failed after the school guard discovered the action.

"The perpetrator admitted that the results were to find food, while we are still trying to investigate further. The urine test results of the perpetrators were negative. The perpetrator was charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of 9 years," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a young man with the initials SEA (23) was arrested by members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Koja Police after stealing a projector belonging to the State Elementary School (SDN) SDN Tugu Utara 09 Pagi, North Jakarta.

"The perpetrator stole the school inventory," said Koja Police Chief Kompol Muhammad Andry when confirmed, Sunday, October 26, 2025.

The perpetrator is still under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Koja Police. The police also confiscated a number of evidence from the perpetrator's crime.
