Manulife Aset Manajemen Melalui BaktiMAMI: Mewujudkan Akses Pendidikan Inklusif Bagi Anak Indonesia
JAKARTA - PT Manulife Aset Manajemen Indonesia (MAMI) has again shown concern for education by providing school equipment assistance to children from prosperous families in various parts of Indonesia. This assistance in the form of bags, shoes, uniforms, stationery, and other learning needs has been given consistently for three consecutive years, as part of MAMI's commitment to support better access to education.
The program, which is titled the Sinambung Children's Program, supports every child to go to school through the provision of books, stationery and uniforms for three consecutive years. This year is the second year the Sinambung Foster Children's Program is implemented, with a total recipient of 305 school children.
"We believe that every child has equal rights to access education, for that most of the MAMI Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs are focused on the world of education. Through the Sinambung Foster Children's program, we want to be part of their long journey to achieve their dreams and ideals, by ensuring that their basic educational needs are met. This commitment is not only about providing assistance, but about creating opportunities and hopes for a better future, "said Justitia Tripurwasani, Director & Chief Legal, Risk and Compliance Officer, MAMI, and the nature of her statement, Friday, October 24.
Education should be a basic right that can be enjoyed by everyone. Through change education can be created and create a better future. But unfortunately, various obstacles often become obstacles, ranging from inadequate infrastructure conditions to lack of proper learning support tools. In the first year or to be precise in 2024, the Sinambung Foster Children program has helped 135 Elementary School (SD) students in several areas, including SDN Cicadas in Sukabumi, SDN 2 Nagayati in Lebak Banten, SDN Jampang 01 in Bogor, and SDN 1 Teluk in Aceh. The school children will receive school equipment assistance until 2027.

Then this year, the Sinambung Foster Children's program targets Elementary School (SD) and Junior High School (SMP) students. As many as 170 students from several schools will receive the same assistance until 2028. These schools are Djojoredjo Putat Nutug Junior High School in Bogor, West Java Special Elementary School Hope for Mother, DKI Jakarta, Maumolo State Elementary School, East Nusa Tenggara, and Sawe State Elementary School Suma in Papua.
