Escape After Filling Gasoline Of IDR 200 Thousand, Rempoa Gas Stations Don't Demand Compensation
JAKARTA - The police are investigating consumers who fled after filling gasoline at gas stations in the Rempoa area, South Tangerang.
"It happened at the Rempoa gas station, Jalan Pahlawan Raya, Rempoa Village, Ciputat District, South Tangerang City, Banten," said East Ciputat Police Chief Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq, ANTARA, Thursday, October 23.
He explained that the incident began with one of the consumers who filled up pertalite fuel of Rp. 200 thousand, on Monday, October 20 at around 15.30 WIB.
"Then when they were about to make payments, the gas station guard offered cash payment (cash), QRIS and debit methods, the consumer reasoned that he did not bring a wallet and wanted to make payments via transfer," said Bambang.
The officer then called the supervisor at the Rempoa gas station and gave his account number for payment.

"After that, the consumer showed proof of payment via transfer to account number. After waiting for a while, the money had not yet entered the account," said Bambang.
Then, suddenly the consumer immediately fled and fled the gas station using a red Honda Brio four-wheeled vehicle with number B 1719 ZOF.
"After checking, the manager of the Rempoa gas station did not demand compensation and hoped that the consumer would return to the Rempoa gas station to pay for it," said Bambang.
Previously, a viral video circulated on Instagram social media via the @tangerang.terkini account, which shows a red car running away after filling gasoline at gas stations in the Rempoa area.
In the video, it appears that the gas station officer is chasing the red car because it is suspected that he has not completed the payment.
