Pramono Refuses To Comment On Transjakarta Commissioner Oration "Goreak Neck" During Trans7 Demo

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung did not want to respond to the statement by PT Transjakarta Commissioner Muhammad Ainul confidently in his speech during a demonstration in front of the Trans7 office some time ago which drew public criticism.

During the demonstration, Ainul Yakin, who is also the Head of the Regional Leadership of the Ansor Jakarta Youth Movement (GP), commented on the threat of "slitting the neck" in the aftermath of the Trans7 program that hit Islamic boarding schools and scholars.

This question was asked to Pramono after reviewing the Jakarta Running Festival 2025 race expo at Gelora Bung Karno, Central Jakarta.

"It has nothing to do with the Jakarta Running Festival," said Pramono briefly, Thursday, October 23.

For information, in a video circulating on social media, Ainul recorded a speech during an action in front of the Trans7 office. According to him, the private television office had insulted the kiai and clerics of Nahdlatul Ulama on its show.

"One of the tasks of Ansor and Banser is to guard the kiai, ulama, and Islamic boarding schools. If there are kiai, our scholars who are insulted, then Ansor and Banser will be at the forefront," said Ainul in the video.

"You are there because of Nahdlatul Ulama. Do not let Banser cadres slit your throat, such as the tire slitting the PKI's throat. Halal your blood if you make fun of Nahdlatul Ulama clerics," he continued.

President Commissioner of PT Transjakarta Untung Budiharto finally opened his voice. Untung menegaskan pernyataan Ainul Yakin yang menimbulkan kontroversial di media sosial merupakan pandang personal dan tak berhubungan dengan Transjakarta.

"The statement conveyed by Brother Ainul Yakin Simatupang is the personal view of the person concerned and does not reflect the attitude or official Transjakarta policy," said Untung in his statement, Monday, October 20.

As a follow-up, the Board of Commissioners together with the Board of Directors will clarify internally regarding the polemic that dragged Ainul Yakin.

"Transjakarta conveyed this statement so that there would be no misunderstanding in the community. Transjakarta will remain focused on carrying out its main task of providing the best service for all residents of DKI Jakarta regardless of ethnic, religious, or group backgrounds," he explained.

Ainul was appointed as Commissioner of Transjakarta in determining shareholders outside the General Meeting of Shareholders (KPPS) on Thursday, August 1, 2025.
