Bobby And Dedi Mulyadi Denies APBD Funds Depositing In Banks, Purbaya: Already Checked With BI
JAKARTA - Minister of Finance, Purbaya Yudhi Sadive has opened his voice regarding the rebuttal of North Sumatra Governor Bobby Nasution and West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi regarding the APBD funds stored in the bank.
Purbaya said the data obtained was correct data because it was obtained from Bank Indonesia which collected data from all banks in Indonesia.
Purbaya even asked regional heads to check the funds that had been placed in banks.
"That's data from BI, it has been checked by BI. It should be true. They have to check again what their funds in the banking sector are like," Purbaya told the media crew, Wednesday, October 22.
Purbaya also emphasized that the data provided by BI must be correct and in accordance with the actual data in the field. The reason is, central bank data is obtained from routine banking reports.
"That's a report from a bank that is reported at all times at the central bank. That should be true," said Purbaya.
Previously, Dedi Mulyadi denied the West Java Provincial Government's statement that the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) was deposited in the form of deposits, so he suggested that the Minister of Finance, Purbaya Yudhi Sadive, disclose data on regions that store funds, not in local banks.
Dedi said he had checked directly with Bank Jabar Banten (BJB) regarding whether there were regional funds deposited there.
"I have checked that no one is stored in the deposit," said Dedi as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 21.

According to Dedi, if there are local governments that store money in the form of deposits, then this is a problem, because the local government is not able to manage regional finances properly.
Therefore, Dedi asked Minister Purbaya to announce which local governments store funds in the form of deposits in various banks.
