Genjot Production, PT Timah Opens Opportunities For Sea Mining Cooperation

JAKARTA - PT Timah Tbk (TINS) announced the opportunity for cooperation in mining partnerships that are open to potential partners, especially mining in the Sea, with the Isap Production Ship. This collaboration is offered with a mutually beneficial scheme, supported by strong legality, professional supervision, and certainty of absorption of production results.

PT Timah Tbk's Corporate Secretary, Rendi Kurniawan, said that this partnership program is one of the company's strategies to improve the production performance and involvement of stakeholders while strengthening collaboration with local business actors.

Rendi explained that mining partnership cooperation was carried out based on the Board of Directors Regulation Number 0017 of 2025 concerning Guidelines for Cooperation in the Mining of the Alluvial Tin Mining and Mineral Mining Partnership Program.

"This Board of Directors Regulation is an effort to uphold the value of integrity and prevent conflicts of interest, improve technical efficiency, and optimize the use of digital systems through procurement.com and the Mining Contractor Online System (MMOS) application in the mining partnership process," he said in a statement to the media, quoted Wednesday, October 22.

In the process of selecting mining partners, PT Timah involves various Divisions within PT Timah such as Division Exploration & Production Planning, Procurement Division, HSE & Sustainability Division, Engineering & Operation Excellence Division, Mine Support and Region/Area Division.

The company opens opportunities for mining partnerships with the principles of transparency and sustainability. Through this collaboration, the Company wants to create a healthy, fair, and optimal mining ecosystem for the community and the country," he said.

Rendi explained that potential partners who are interested can register through official procedures that have been set by the company before October 31, 2025. The selection process is carried out transparently to ensure partners have integrity, technical capacity, and commitment to mining practices that are in accordance with regulations.

The types of cooperation that will be partnered are alluvial tin mining and tin-laden minerals using the Production Isap Ship. The mining locations that will be carried out are on Bangka Island and Kundur.

The criteria for business partners needed are; have experience in tin mining activities, have adequate resources, both labor and equipment, integrity, professionalism, and have a high commitment to the sustainability of operations.

"Transparency in mining partnerships is expected to provide economic value for the community as well as contribute to the management of more wise and sustainable natural resources," he concluded.
