Methamphetamine Courier In Tebet Arrested, Police: Receives IDR 500 Thousand Once Inter

The police arrested a drug dealer of methamphetamine and ecstasy with the initials S who acted in the Bukit Duri area, Tebet District, South Jakarta.

"So, the South Jakarta Police Narcotics Unit managed to secure one suspect with the initials S alias Sutardi," said South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Head AKBP Prasetyo Noegroho to reporters in Jakarta, Wednesday.

The incident began on Wednesday, October 15, at 14.30 WIB, where the police received information that there were drug dealers in the Bukit Duri area, Tebet District, South Jakarta.

From this incident, the police immediately secured the perpetrators to the South Jakarta Metro Police.

In his confession, the perpetrator has been in action since 2023 and from the sale of the narcotics he has made a minimum profit of IDR 500 thousand from each job.

The police are also still developing the case to find out the network and where the illegal goods came from.

"We are still investigating the network concerned and information is found from outside Jakarta," he said.

The evidence that was secured was four packages containing methamphetamine with a gross weight of approximately 98 grams.

Then, one clear plastic determined 51 ecstasy pills with a gross weight of 20.86 grams, one silver digital scale, one unit of a black Redmi 13C brand-like cellphone.

For his actions, the perpetrator was caught in Article 114 paragraph 2 Subsidiary Article 112 paragraph 2 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 with a minimum sentence of five years and a maximum of 20 years.
