Police Dismantle Ecstasy Factory In Mangga Besar In The Aftermath Of Courier Arrest In Kebon Jeruk

Central Jakarta Metro Police dismantled a home ecstasy factory in the North Kedoya area, West Jakarta, and arrested seven people by confiscating a number of evidences. Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said the raid was carried out on Sunday, October 12, at around 20.00 WIB on Jalan Mangga Besar, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta.

The raid was carried out after the police arrested IS (39), a courier known to be sending the main raw materials (MDMA) to PR in the Pesing area, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.

From the results of the examination, the team then moved to the location and found narcotics production activity. When raided, officers found six people producing ecstasy.

The six people who were secured at the location were PM (35) as the head of production, TM (35) as the controller of the process, MAF (31) as mixers, MAN (33) as mechanics and packaging, MA (32) as the counter and packaging, and AA (26) who helped with the packaging process.

"From the location of the raid, we confiscated 3,232 ecstasy pills weighing a total of 1.7 kilograms, as well as 4.1 kilograms of dough and various mixing materials with a total weight of 30-40 kilograms," he said.

In addition, continued Susatyo, other evidence includes two units of narcotics printer machines, one mixing machine, digital scales, aluminum containers, alcohol, clear plastic, and eight mobile phones.

"If all raw materials are processed, the amount is estimated to reach 80,000 ecstasy pills," he said.

Kapolsek Sawah Besar Kompol Rahmat Himawan revealed that the three perpetrators were old players in the world of drugs.

"One recidivist in a drug case with a sentence of eight years, one person was a courier with a sentence of five years, and the other was caught in a narcotics liquid case for four years," he said.

According to Rahmat, the perpetrators only rented a place in North Kedoya on October 29, 2025 and immediately prepared production equipment.

The perpetrators were charged with Article 113 paragraph (2), Article 114 paragraph (2), Article 112 paragraph (2), and Article 132 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with the threat of a maximum sentence of death or life imprisonment.
