In Debt, The Man In Jagakarsa Robs His Neighbor, Next To The Persis House

JAKARTA - A man with the initials BPJ (36) is desperate to commit violent theft at a neighbor's own house, a woman with the initials LA (35) on Jalan Jagakarsa Raya RT 08/RW 05 No 25, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta.

"Saturday (October 18), at around 16.19 WIB there was an attempted violent theft, the suspect lives next to each other," said Jagakarsa Police Chief Kompol Nurma Dewi to reporters, Tuesday, October 21.

Nurma said they had been neighbors for three years. However, it turns out that the perpetrator has also been in debt for a long time, so he thinks of committing theft by climbing the walls of the victim's rented house.

"After being on the ceiling of the victim's rented house, the suspect tied the bed linen he had brought down. So, it was planned," he said.

But when he fell, the bedizen bond was released, so the suspect fell into the victim's rented house.

The victim who was in the room and heard immediately looked for the origin of the sound. However, when opening the door, he immediately met the perpetrator with a kitchen knife.

Until finally they struggled, the knife was broken and immediately thrown away by the victim. Not giving up, the perpetrator did not let go of the victim so the victim screamed for help.

"Furthermore, the witness with the initials S entered the house and helped the victim by pulling the suspect so that his hand held on the victim was released," he said.

After the suspect was arrested, he was immediately taken out of the house assisted by residents to visit the RT management.

Then, members of the police came to secure the suspect and were taken to the Jagakarsa Police.

The evidence that has been secured is four sheets of cloth, and a knife.

For his actions related to attempted theft with violence, the perpetrator is suspected of Article 365 in conjunction with Article 53 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, which carries a maximum sentence of nine years in prison.
