Rosan Pasang Target Dividend BUMN Tembus Rp140 Trillion This Year

JAKARTA - Danantara Indonesia Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rosan Roeslani targets to receive dividends from State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) of IDR 140 trillion this year.

"Our dividend is more or less this year, we accept it even though we receive it gradually, it reaches approximately Rp140 trillion," said Rosan at the Indonesian Danantara Berdikari event: Economic Transformation Towards Golden Indonesia at Kempinski Grand Ballroom, Jakarta, Monday, October 20.

Rosan said that over the next five years, the potential for Danantara funding through SOE dividends could reach IDR 750 trillion, assuming dividends of IDR 150 trillion per year.

"If we talk about the 5th time for easy calculations, maybe it will be IDR 150 trillion. If we multiply 5 it means how much? IDR 750 trillion. That's in the next 5 years that we can invest, and that's everything if I say it's equity funds," he said.

Rosan said that the presence of Danantara in managing state company assets could contribute to the economy. Moreover, the total Gross Domestic Product (GDP) currently continues to shoot around 1.5 to 1.6 trillion US dollars.

Furthermore, Rosan said the figure would still grow. He also emphasized the synergy between parties to optimize the role of Danantara in encouraging economic growth.

Rosan invites all business actors to be involved in Danantara investment, one of which is waste to energy or waste management. He said, the opportunity was wide open for entrepreneurs.

We invite the business world to invest together with us. In fact, this is where we play. And we want the entrepreneurs of HIPMI friends to be also active. Because the opportunity is for sure we will be wide open. Funding for sure I will be wide open," he said.
