The Fauna Lenteng Agung Center Can Be Occupied By Barito Market Traders
JAKARTA - The construction of the Fauna Center and Lenteng Agung Culinary, South Jakarta has been completed. This place has been relocated to the Peliharaan Barito Animal Market traders who were moved due to the construction of the Pusaka Flag Park which combines Ayodya, Leuser, and Langsat Parks in Kebayoran Baru.
"Sentra Fauna is 100 percent. Rolling door, electricity, kiosk keys, everything is installed is ready to be inhabited," said Special Staff to the Governor of DKI for Social Communications, Chico Hakim, to reporters, Monday, October 20.
Chico admitted that there is still minor work at the Lenteng Agung Sentra Fauna and Culinary facilities that are being carried out. Among them are the addition of infiltration wells to accommodate rainwater discharge, to paving the road to the highway.
However, Chico emphasized that Barito Market traders who are already interested in being relocated can enter their merchandise into the new location.
"Actually, it can be filled if someone wants to move things. So we actually have 100 percent less, and what is the job now is improvement," he explained.
Sentra Fauna and Kuliner Lenteng Agung have 125 stalls with various functions, consisting of 22 culinary kiosks (zone A), amphitheater (zone B), 74 bird stalls and animal feed (zone C and D), as well as 29 additional parsel and culinary stalls (zone E).
DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung assessed that this location has facilities that are quite feasible and easily accessible using public transportation.
Therefore, Pramono hopes that in the end all Barito Market traders will be willing to be relocated.
"It was moved to a very good place in South Jakarta, in Lenteng Agung, very close to the station. Hopefully this will become a new place to develop for those whose business or business for MSMEs is selling birds. But in this case, it really can't help everyone," said Pramono, some time ago.
"That is the task of the DKI Jakarta government. What I lead is how to then provide space for residents, most of which become safer, more comfortable, happy," he continued.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, October 15, the South Jakarta City Government again brought a warning letter (SP) to traders of the Petiharaan Barito Animal Market.
Head of the Legal Section of the South Jakarta Administrative City, Dedi Rohedi, said that the provision of SP2 to traders at stalls JS 25, 26, 30 and 96 was a follow-up to SP 1 which had been issued last week.
They were asked to immediately move to Sentra Fauna and Culinary Lenteng Agung as new relocation sites within the next 7 days.
"In the previous SP1, we gave a deadline of seven days so that traders would want to be relocated to a new location, but it was not heeded," said Dedi, Wednesday, October 15.
Dedi hopes that the provision of SP 2 can make traders finally willing to be relocated, considering that the DKI Provincial Government wants Pasar Barito for the construction of the Pusaka Flag Park.
"Yesterday we were waiting for the building to be completed. Now it's finished, it can be occupied. We ask traders to understand that the government will still provide the best for them," said Dedi.
