Polda Metro Jaya revealed five underage students who acted anarchically and carried sharp weapons during a demonstration in front of the DPR/MPR Building, Jakarta, some time ago.

"It was received information that they participated in a demonstration at the DPR/MPR Building which took place anarchically after seeing content containing invitations for action uploaded on social media," said Jakarta Metro Police representative, AKP Indon Sitorus, in the respondent's hearing at the South Jakarta District Court, Antara, Monday, October 20.

The five students had the initials IAH, CDF, AF, ARA, and MR. According to Indon, the investigation steps were carried out through observations and cyber patrols to find accounts containing calls for underage students to participate in demonstrations.

"Furthermore, the Respondent issued a warrant to take screenshots and open access to Instagram social media accounts and a Twitter account containing invitations to underage students to protest," he said.

From the results of the patrol, the police found nine Instagram accounts involved in the distribution of the invitation, one of which was said to have come from the Lokataru Foundation.

In addition, Polda Metro Jaya also recorded two other students who were arrested and found carrying sharp weapons in the form of a ceramic knife and nine arrows.

"That from the report on the implementation of the duties against BSJL and FA brothers, it is known that both of them carried the sharp weapon," said Indon.

Based on the results of the investigation, the police then determined the model A police report, namely reports made without public complaints.

It is known that during the riots on August 25, 2025, the police arrested 337 people, including 202 minors. Furthermore, on August 28, 2025, 765 people were arrested, and on August 30, 2025, 205 others were arrested.

Gugatan itu terdaftar dengan nomor perkara 132/Pid.Pra/2025/PN JKT.SEL, dengan Termohon yaitu Direktur Reserse Siber dan Direktur Reserse Kriminal Umum Polda Metro Jaya.
