The Attorney General Handed Over Rp13 T To The State From The Migor Case Witnessed By Prabowo
The Attorney General's Office symbolically handed over replacement money from the corruption case in the provision of crude palm oil (CPO) export facilities and their derivatives to the state today, October 20. President Prabowo Subianto was present at the event which was held at the main building of the AGO, Jakarta.
"In this case, we will hand over the confiscated state in the form of money to the Ministry of Finance as an agency authorized to manage state finances," said Attorney General ST Burhanuddin in his remarks as broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube.
The Rp13,255 trillion money is a replacement money paid by three corporations, namely Wilmar Group, Permata Hijau Group, and PT Musim Mas.
"We can postpone it but with one obligation that they must hand it over to us, the oil palm, the company's oil palm plantation is dependent for the Rp4.4 trillion," he continued.
In the future, Burhanuddin said the Attorney General's Office would prioritize the prosecution of corruption that harms the people directly. "We have taken action against salt corruption, sugar corruption, then steel related to the lives of many people we prioritize first," he said.
In addition, the Attorney General's Office calls the return of state losses a form of prioritizing the prosperity of the people.
The Prosecutor's Success in uncovering the recovery of losses is a manifestation of the prosecutor's efforts to uphold economic justice, all of which are aimed at the prosperity of the people.
