SEA Games Men's Football Draw Results 2025: Indonesian U-23 National Team Qualifies Hell Group

JAKARTA - Drawing or lottery for the men's soccer sport at the Thailand 2025 SEA Games was completed on Sunday, October 19 afternoon. As a result, the U-23 Indonesian national team will qualify from the hell group.

The U-23 Indonesian national team will come to Bangkok as the defending champion of the SEA Games. In the 2023 SEA Games football final in Cambodia, Indonesia beat Thailand 5-2 through extra rounds.

However, the Red and White team will face two other favorite winning teams, namely the hosts Thailand and Vietnam.

Thailand is the collector of the most gold medals in the SEA Games with 16 gold. When the SEA Games used the U-23 player format, Thailand won 6 times.

Vietnam is also a strong candidate to win the SEA Games. The team nicknamed The Golden Star won three SEA Games gold. Two of them were obtained in the last three editions, namely 2019 and 2021.
