There Are New Standard Rules For Industrial Estates 2026, Business Actors Must Fulfill These Three Aspects
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) will begin enacting Regulation of the Minister of Industry (Permenperin) Number 26 of 2025 concerning Standards for Industrial Estates and Accreditation of Industrial Estates in January 2026.
In the regulation promulgated on July 23, the Ministry of Industry emphasized business actors/industrials to comply with the three aspects of the Standard Industrial Estate.
Among other things, regional infrastructure ( 50 percent robot), environmental management (25 percent robot) and regional management and services (25 percent robot).
Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said that the application of standards and accreditation of industrial estates is a strategic step to encourage efficiency, productivity and professionalism in regional management.
"Through the application of this standard, we want to ensure that every industrial area has quality of service, infrastructure and environmental management that meets standards, so that it is able to attract investor interest and contribute more to national economic growth," Agus said in his official statement, Saturday, October 18.
Meanwhile, Director General of Resilience, Region and International Industrial Access (KPAII) Tri Supondy emphasized that the application of the industrial estate standard is a form of the government's commitment to creating integrated, modern and environmentally friendly industrial estate governance.
"The standard of industrial estates will be a guide for managers to ensure all aspects of infrastructure, environment and service run efficiently, transparently and in accordance with sustainability principles," he said.
The Ministry of Industry has conducted socialization regarding this matter on Tuesday, October 14.
The socialization activity was attended by more than 173 existing industrial estate managers, including national priority project industrial areas as well as representatives from ministries/agencies, local governments, the Industrial Estate Association (HKI) and international development partners such as UNIDO and the Swiss Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).

The participants received technical presentations regarding aspects of standard industrial estates, accreditation mechanisms for industrial estates, status determination of accredited industrial areas, monitoring and evaluation as well as supervision and control of standard industrial estates.
The application of standards and accreditation of industrial estates is expected to be a strategic step in improving the quality of governance in industrial estates and encouraging the creation of efficient, highly competitive and sustainable areas in order to strengthen Indonesia's position in the global industrial supply chain.
