Visiting PSBS Home, Bojan Hodak Asks Persib Not To Underestimate Hosts
JAKARTA - Persib Bandung is scheduled to travel to PSBS Biak headquarters in the ninth week of the 2025/2026 Super League. For this match, Bojan Hodak as coach of Maung Bandung asked his subordinates not to take the hosts lightly.
Ahead of the meeting at Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman, on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 19.00 WIB, Bojan assessed that Persib Bandung should not reduce vigilance even though it has a big difference in the standings.
"They (PSBS Biak) are a good team, they started the league not well, but in some games, the last 4-5 matches, they were much better," said Bojan Hodak, quoted from the official I-League website on Friday, October 17, 2025.

Based on the current standings records, Persib Bandung is in seventh place with 10 points, five points ahead of PSBS Biak who occupies the 16th position.
In this away match, Persib is also considered to have a golden opportunity to gain full points at home to PSBS Biak. The reason is, the team nicknamed the Pacific Storm has never won at all when they are the hosts.
Despite his status as the seeded team, Bojan explained that Persib must remain vigilant about PSBS Biak because all teams that are against his squad will certainly have high motivation.
"All are motivated against Persib because we won twice in a row. Everyone is not happy that we are champions again and that is normal."
"That's the reason I once said that to become a second or third league champion, it will always be more difficult than when I first won," said Bojan.
Ahead of the match against PSBS Biak, the Croatian coach said he had prepared tactical exercises after all the players were complete.
"We have honed our physical skills. Now we are starting to undergo tactical training. However, we have not been able to do many things because four new players have not arrived. We will train in the afternoon to accommodate them," said the coach.
