The Death Of An 8-year-old Boy In The Kost Penjaringan Room Indicated For Criminal Acts

The North Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) will reveal the mystery of the death of the boy with the initials AR (8) in the Penjaringan area, North Jakarta, in the near future.

Until now, investigators are still collecting a number of comprehensive evidence so that the mystery of the AR boy's death case can be resolved immediately clearly.

"In the near future, the results of the autopsy have not yet been released. (the case was held) in preparation, after all the evidence was collected," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Onkoseno Gradiarso Sukahar when confirmed, Friday, October 17, 2025.

Although he has not revealed the case, the North Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim believes that there has been a criminal act of violence in the case of the victim's death.

"There are still criminal indications," he said.

Currently, the number of witnesses being examined is still 10 people. The police have also checked the health condition of the victim's biological mother who lives with the victim every day.

"We are still gathering it (the results of the medical examination)," he said.

Previously, it was reported that MKR (35), the biological mother of the victim AR (8) was arrested by the Penjaringan Metro Police and residents shortly after the discovery of the body on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at dawn at around 04.00 WIB.

According to Arip, the head of security for RW 02 Penjaringan, when the victim's body was found, the victim's biological mother was not at home.

"Her mother is out and doesn't know where. Her mother is around here when she is busy, maybe she doesn't dare to go home and maybe she goes around," said Arip to reporters at the location, Monday, September 22, 2025.

Penjaringan Police officers conducted a search for MKR, the victim's biological mother. Because AR was found dead in the MKR room on the 3rd floor, Jalan Arwana, RW 02, Pejagalan Village, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.

"The police and residents in Kertajaya (region) were found walking at 04.00 WIB," he said.

When it was found by residents and the police, MKR only fell silent. His face looks flat.
