Encourage ESG Implementation In Business, Bank Jakarta Wins ESG Excellence Award Regional Banking Award 2025

JAKARTA - Bank Jakarta received the Regional Banking ESG Excellence Awards for its contribution to economic growth in DKI Jakarta and National through support for the MSME sector, as well as community empowerment at the Road to CNBC Indonesia Awards in Jakarta, Thursday, October 16.

This award was received by the Director of Finance & Strategy of Bank Jakarta, Basaria Martha Juliana as an appreciation to Bank Jakarta which is considered to have encouraged the adaptation of ESG in its business activities.

The Regional Banking ESG Excellence Awards are part of the Road to CNBC Indonesia Awards which are a series of awards from CNBC Indonesia TV in providing exposure to institutions and corporations in Indonesia. In 2025, the award will be held taking into account various indicators by taking into account business and financial performance and seeing bank governance which is assessed based on the composite value of GCG.

Furthermore, Martha also thanked the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, as a shareholder who continues to support Bank Jakarta's transformation steps to be stronger and more sustainable. This award is an important momentum for long-term commitment to sustainability as the key to building resilient institutions amidst Ujar Martha's global uncertainty.

In line with this, Bank Jakarta Corporate Secretary, Arie Rinaldi said Bank Jakarta continues to encourage the expansion of economic inclusion through community empowerment, especially MSME players, including through collaboration with various parties in the use of banking products and services that support the sustainability of micro businesses, ranging from cash management services, savings, demand deposits, to financing facilities.

Most recently, Bank Jakarta collaborated with Indogrosir to inaugurate the Disabled Mandiri Indogrosir (TMI) Store as an effort to encourage economic independence through an inclusive retail business model.
