Alleged Embezzlement Of 980 3 Kg LPG In Bangka, Police Examine Witnesses
JAKARTA - PT Silva Jaya Mandiri's attorney, Kemas Akhmad Tajuddin, confirmed that the legal process for the alleged embezzlement of 980 subsidized LPG cylinders at the Paritpadang gas station, Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, is still continuing at the Bangka Police Station.
"Currently, the legal process for the alleged embezzlement of hundreds of three kilograms of gas cylinders is still ongoing in the police," said gold Akhmad Tajuddin of the Nanusa Law Office in Pangkalpinang, Thursday, as reported by Antara.
He said the police report on the alleged crime of embezzling gas cylinders at the Paritpadang gas station had been submitted by PT Silva Jaya Mandiri since February 2025 to the Bangka Regency Resort Police with Police Report Number: LP/B-21/II/2025.
The process of handling the reported case has entered the examination of a number of witnesses including the reporting witness from PT Silva Jaya Mandiri and the Bangka Police have also submitted a Notice of Investigation Commencement (SPDP) to the Sungailiat Prosecutor's Office.
"We have received confirmation from investigators that the handling of the case of subsidized gas cylinder embezzlement that occurred at the Paritpadang gas station is still ongoing and is in process according to procedures in the police," he said.

According to him, although the process took time and the agenda for the Bangka Re-Pilkada, the Bangka Police confirmed that when the documents and examination files were completed, his party would immediately hand over the case files to the Sungailiat District Attorney.
"The Sungailiat District Attorney himself admitted that he had received the SPDP from the Bangka Police and they are currently waiting for the submission of the examination files from investigators," said the police.
He added that the case of embezzling gas cylinders at Paritpadang gas stations began with an inspection at the gas station by the Manager of PT.Silva Jaya Mandiri, from the results of the check, it was found that there were 3 kg LPG gas cylinders that were missing totaling 980 3 kg LPG gas cylinders.
"These findings were then reported to the management of the company, which then the case continued to the police," he said.
