Visiting China, Apple CEO Gets Custom Labubu Dolls Similar To Himself

JAKARTA - Apple CEO, Tim Cook, a few days ago made an official trip to China for the release of the iPhone Air in the country. During his visit, Tim Cook met with Pop Mart CEO Wang Ning and creators of the Labubu 'The Monsters' doll, Kasing Lung.

Quoted from China Daily, on Thursday, October 16, 2025, through the meeting, Tim Cook got a unique hand, a Labubu doll that was captured to resemble him.

In the photo shared by Kasing Lung on his Instagram, the Labubu doll made specifically for Tim Cook is a doll with white fur.

However, the doll also features wearing black jeans, glasses, and wearing a matching color t-shirt, as well as sneakers, which resembles Tim Cook.

Interestingly, the Labubu doll seemed to be holding a miniature cellphone that seemed to be an iPhone 17. Kasing Lung himself hopes that Tim Cook likes the Labubu doll that he has a similar image of.

"Hopefully you like the uniqueness of the Cook Labubu Team we created for you," wrote Kasing Lung.

Meanwhile, Tim Cook himself uploaded the moment of the meeting on his Weibo account. He said that the Labubu doll already has an orange iPhone 17.

"Labubu now has an iPhone 17 Pro in the Cosming Orange color," said Tim Cook.

Meanwhile, Pop Mart is holding an exhibition of The Monsters in Shanghai to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Labubu. The exhibition runs until November 8, 2025.

The exhibition features various rare Labubu dolls, collaborations with luxury brands such as Moynatat, as well as a meeting with the creator of Labubu, namely Kasing Lung.
