Democrat-Nasdem Faction Asks For TMD Bus Route Bali Stopped
The Bali DPRD Democrat-Nasdem faction asked the Bali Provincial Government to stop operating the Trans Metro Gods (TMD) bus route I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport.
"The Trans Metro Dewata bus to and from Ngurah Rai Airport is stopped because it is not used by the general public," said Member of the Democratic-Nasdem I Faction Komang Wirawan in Denpasar, Thursday, October 16.
According to him, public transportation at low rates should be used effectively and efficiently by residents, while on airport routes, most of them are used by tourists.
From the complaints of tourism actors that he accommodates, Komang Wirawan assessed that the TMD bus should no longer go through the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport route so that business actors such as local drivers get more space to find fortune.
In addition to airport routes, Democrat-Nasdem Party politicians who are in the Bali DPRD also encourage the evaluation of the TMD Bus for the Ubung-Monkey Forest tourist attraction, Ubud.
"It is better to direct it from the Udayana Bukit Jimbaran Denpasar-Kampus to be maximized, because in this way the impact can be felt more," said Komang Wirawan.
He asked the Bali Provincial Government to consider the effectiveness of this public transportation operation, especially on routes that are empty of interest so that the use of funds does not waste.
