Making Yourself, Nikita Mirzani Prepares 20 Pages Of Defense Notes At Today's Session
JAKARTA Actress Nikita Mirzani revealed that she wrote herself a plea or a memorandum of defense that she would read during a follow-up hearing at the South Jakarta District Court.
"The Pleido has made it yourself, just hear it later," said Nikita Mirzani at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday, October 16.
He explained that the plea was not too long, only about twenty pages. "Not much, just twenty pages," said Nikita.
Nikita also emphasized that she would read the plea directly in front of the panel of judges with full feelings.
"Read it yourself with tears of emotion," he continued.
Regarding his hopes for the outcome of the trial, Nikita hopes that the panel of judges will make a fair decision based on the facts revealed during the trial.
"Hopefully the verdict is in accordance with the facts of the trial, the facts of the trial, that's all," said Nikita.
For information, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) explicitly demanded that the panel of judges impose an 11-year prison sentence on the artist, known for his various controversies.
These heavy charges were filed on two multi-layered charges, namely extortion as regulated in the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE) and the Crime of Money Laundering (TPPU).
In a trial held at the South Jakarta District Court on Thursday, October 9, the Public Prosecutor stated that Nikita Mirzani was legally and convincingly proven guilty of all charges directed at him. In addition to imprisonment, the prosecutor also demanded that Nikita be fined in large quantities.

"Therefore, with a prison sentence of 11 years and a fine of Rp. 2 billion, provided that if the fine is not paid, it will be replaced with imprisonment for 6 months," said the Public Prosecutor in the courtroom.
