Nikita Mirzani's Menohok Satire For Public Prosecutors, Use Hijab At The Pledoi Session
JAKARTA - Actress Nikita Mirzani again stole the public's attention while attending the trial of reading the memorandum of defense (pledoi) at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday, October 16.
Known for his brave and expressive style, this time Nikita appeared different closed by wearing a hijab. His appearance turned out to be a form of satire against those who had considered him disrespectful during the trial.
"Because yesterday I was said to be rude, today I gave politeness," said Nikita in a sarcastic tone.
It didn't stop there, Nikita even dubbed her appearance this time as 'the daughter of Pharaoh', a typical satire full of meaning. He emphasized that decency cannot be measured only by appearances outside.
"You can't get angry, you're polite," he said with a smile. "You have to be polite, yes," he added repeatedly, confirming the message he wanted to convey.
On that occasion, Nikita also revealed that she had prepared a personal defense note to be read before the panel of judges. Even though he was short, he admitted to writing it himself and would read it live.
"PLEidonya sudah buat sendiri, nanti saja mendengar," kata Nikita. Saat ditanya berapa halaman, ia menjawab, 'Nak banyak, cuma twenty,"
With her distinctive style, Nikita had teased the media crew about the contents of the pledoi.
"Read it yourself with great taste, tears of emotion," he said, then corrected with a humorous tone,
"There are no tears in this (contains plea). I want to cry, okay? Nothing, today there are no tears."

At the end of his statement, Nikita hoped that the panel of judges could give a fair verdict based on the facts revealed at the trial.
"Hopefully the verdict is in accordance with the facts of the trial," he concluded.
