Cengkareng Hospital Has A Presidential Suite, Pramono: I'm Shocked, Can Hold Light Dinner

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung visited the Cengkareng Regional General Hospital (RSUD), West Jakarta. Pramono saw firsthand the services and facilities of the DKI Provincial Government's hospital.

"Frankly, this is one of the hospitals owned by Jakarta which I think is the best. The facilities are good, the services are also good. In fact, they are implementing the so-called patient experience officer. This is what makes me interested in coming here," said Pramono at Cengkareng Hospital, Thursday, October 16.

During the visit, Pramono admitted that he was surprised to learn that Cengkareng Hospital had an executive treatment room, including a presidential suite equipped with a private living room and workspace.

He said the service could be an alternative for people who want to get health services with premium facilities.

"I was also surprised, it turns out that at this hospital there is a presidential suite. Hopefully the public can take advantage of it. Even in the presidential suite it can be used for a light dinner candlestick, which is extraordinary," said Pramono.

Pramono also claimed to have given permission to improve executive service facilities at the hospital.

"Because I saw this good service, the Head of the Service and I have given permission for this facility to be upgraded, especially for executive services on the first and second floors. I also ask that the quality of service here be maintained because this is a very good hospital," he continued.

On that occasion, Pramono said that the innovation of the patient experience officer service at the Cengkareng Hospital should be imitated by other hospitals under the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. This service is considered to help patients, especially those with limited mobility, in the administrative and registration process.

So in my opinion, what is being done at the Cengkareng Hospital can be a role model. I really came to this place because I was interested in the services provided. Once people get service privileges, convenience, they are very helped and very grateful, "explained Pramono.

Director of Cengkareng Hospital, Lysbeth Regina Pandjaitan, said that the patient experience officer service was formed to help patients who have difficulty in administrative and registration processes. Officers trained come from hospital internal staff, ranging from security officers to administrative staff.

This idea arose when we saw many patients who were confused when registering, including wheelchair users who had difficulty finding help. Therefore, we formed a patient experience officer service from internal staff, without adding new human resources. The officers come from various units, ranging from security, office boy, to administrative staff that we train specifically to help patients, "explained Lysbeth.

Cengkareng Hospital has a capacity of 500 beds with 10 modern operating rooms and two emergency operating rooms at the Level 4 Emergency Installation (IGD). This hospital also develops KJSU (Kanker, Heart, Stroke, Uronefrology, and Maternal and Child Health) superior services, as well as an ICU with a family care concept that allows families to see patients regularly.
