2025 Gymnastics World Championships In Jakarta Uses AI

JAKARTA World Gymnastics 2025 Championships or 53rd World Artistic Gymnastics Championships 2025 are confirmed to use artificial intelligence (AI), which is a new breakthrough.

International Gymnastics (FIG) president, Morinari Watanabe, said that utilizing artificial intelligence at the World Championships in Jakarta would be a challenge as well as an experiment.

"So later on the venue you will see games that are integrated with AI. With this AI, everything becomes easier to understand and can increase transparency," said Watanabe.

The application of artificial intelligence technology will be carried out in a scoring system, which will automatically increase accuracy and provide justice for competition participants.

Chairman of the Indonesian Gamenastic Federation (FGI), Ita Yuliati, said that preparations for the World Championships were almost complete and only minor things needed to be completed.

"Hopefully many will watch it because this event is very rare and can inspire young athletes. So we ask for support," he said.
