Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadive announced that the public can now submit their complaints directly regarding tax and customs issues via WhatsApp to number 0822-440-6600.
"Previously I promised, complain about customs issues, and specifically customs and taxes, you can report Mr. Purbaya, the number is 0822 4040-6600. This is for the public who have complaints about tax issues or tax employees or customs employees who are fake, according to them. , or any tax issues, and customs," he told the media crew, Wednesday, October 15.
He explained that his staff had been alerted to receive all incoming reports through the number.
However, reports will not be directly replied to personally.
"To this number, my staff will be on standby there. But we don't immediately answer that we will gather them first, we will sort out every day, which one we can follow up on," he said.
According to him, this WhatsApp service has been active starting today.

As for whether each message will receive a reply,
Purbaya explained that the system will provide an initial response automatically.
However, the follow-up will be carried out after validation by the team.
