For The Sake Of Film Biopics, Jeremy Allen White Gets A Guitar From Bruce Springsteen To Learn
JAKARTA - Jeremy Allen White played Bruce Springsteen in the biopic Deliver Me From nowhere. He revealed that he got a guitar from Springsteen to learn songs.
"I mean, it's a beautiful guitar. I want to, I try to study it occasionally," said Jeremy Allen White, launching NME.
I think I learned the best guitar people have ever played. Bruce sent me a really beautiful guitar, Gibson J200 1955 which became the closest model to the guitar played (Springsteen)," he said.
The actor had time to prepare for the guitar playing via Zoom for two months. However, that time was not enough because Jeremy Allen White had to learn to play Bruce Springsteen's songs.
"I learned with a guitarist, JD Simone and he in Nashville so we studied via Zoom. Four, five, six times a week to study and the first time I met I said 'I'm very happy to learn guitar with you'", said Jeremy Allen White.

"And he said 'We don't have time to learn to play guitar. We have time to learn five Bruce songs' so I learn guitar in a strange way," he continued.
"I was very involved in the shooting and funny process because the guitar you saw in the film, because it looked like the guitar Bruce used. And usually, the department engages with things like this," he said.
When asked if he would return to playing guitar, Springsteen said, "Yes, I might play again. It's a shame the guitar's just there."
Bruce Springsteen praised Jeremy Allen White's guitar playing, saying 'He plays and sings Nebraska very beautiful and credibility. Happy to watch it.'
