The Robbery Victim On Jalan Juanda, Central Jakarta, Turns Out To Be A TNI Member, Has Not Reported To The Police
The victim of the mugging that occurred on Jalan Juanda, Gambir District, Central Jakarta, on Monday night, October 13, was a member of the TNI.
The crime was caught on surveillance cameras (CCTV) around the location. In the footage, it can be seen that the victim walked after taking laundry clothes while playing with his cellphone.
Suddenly, the two perpetrators who were riding a motorbike approached the victim from behind. Without much time, one of the perpetrators immediately took the cellphone from the victim's hand.
The victim tried to chase the perpetrator, but his efforts failed after the two perpetrators stepped on the gas leaving the location.

Head of the Public Relations Section of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Iptu Ruslan, confirmed the incident. However, until now the victim has not made an official report to the police.
"The victim has not reported yet. However, the Criminal Investigation Unit has checked the crime scene, officers are still looking for witnesses who saw it at the time of the incident," said Iptu Ruslan when confirmed, Wednesday, October 15.
The police are still tracing CCTV footage and gathering witness statements to identify the perpetrators involved in the mugging.
