The study conducted by the College of Agriculture, Health & Natural Resources (CAHNR) shows that it regularly consumes fire related to decreased blood sugar levels, triglycerides (blood fat), and blood pressure.
Kimchi is also known for its high probiotic content. This is an essential bacteria to maintain a balance of microbiomes or natural flora in the intestines.
The balance of microbiomes in the intestines is very important, because it can prevent various diseases including cancer. If the microbiome is not balanced, it can increase the risk of cancer.
"Given the importance of gut health for systemic inflammation, immune regulation, and metabolic function, I seeCE as a valuable component in a diet that supports heart health and lowers the risk of cancer," said neuroradiology expert Dr. Kavin Mistry, quoted from the Daily Mail, on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
The study also strengthens research findings on the benefits of mediating for cancer prevention that was carried out in South Korea in 2020. Kimchi is said to be able to positively change the position of intestinal minrobioma, which effectively prevents collitis cancer and inhibits the formation of tame tumors (adenomas) in the intestines.
Healthy gut microbiomes serve as a natural protector against pathogens, regulate inflammation, and strengthen the body's immune system to fight cancer cells.
